Huis Horison is part of the MyVillage program. Add us as one of your beneficiaries and through this programme, you will donate while you spend. A portion of your spend will be allocated to Huis Horison.

MySchool MyVillage MyPlanet is a South African fundraising programme that raises and delivers essential funding for schools, welfare organisations and charities with the aim of improving education, social development and the environment.

MySchool MyVillage MyPlanet members are encouraged to participate by merely swiping their cards at participating stores and partners. These include national partners such as those listed below, as well as individual local stores.

MySchool MyVillage MyPlanet works by supporters applying for a card and nominating their favourite school or charity as a beneficiary. A small percentage of their transaction is then allocated to their beneficiary school or charity. All these transactions are recorded and a statement is sent to individual supporters on a monthly basis.

Members do not incur any costs. The store or partner makes a donation of up to 10% of a member’s overall purchase towards their beneficiary/ies of choice – on their behalf.

As a member it is possible to nominate up to 3 beneficiaries (schools or charities) on a card. The donation made to the beneficiaries by the store or partner is then shared equally amongst each.
