Gates open 09:00. Visitors can look forward to traditional food stalls featuring favourites like pancakes, roosterkoek, ribburgers, greek pitas, butter chicken, potjiekos meals, lamb on the spit, skilpadjies and tripe (and smileys!), boerewors rolls, pies, quiches, puddings, cakes and baked snacks. You can even stock up on your fresh bread and vegetables.
Village Thyme will be hosting a tea garden with breakfast wraps and a great selection of homebaked cakes by the slice.
We are thrilled that Weskaap Boereorkes will be playing for us live! Enjoy Devil’s Peak beer on tap, wines, and great coffee by Konig Coffee.
Children will be well entertained with a jumping castle, games, tombola, and other fun activities throughout the morning. Car lovers can enjoy the antique car exhibition, while food enthusiasts are encouraged to enter our Potjiekos Competition and show off their culinary talents.
SnapScan and card payment facilities are available.
All proceeds from the event go directly to supporting the care and development of adults with primary intellectual disabilities at Huis Horison. We invite you to bring your friends and family and join us for this joyful celebration filled with heart, heritage, and community.
