As a Business

We need help in our gardens! This is the perfect opportunity for a small team to get their hands dirty.  We would like to plant more trees (particularly Water pear trees) and any tree donations (and planting thereof) are welcomed!

  • Order rusks and biscuits, quiche and brownies for the office for the month from our Bakery.
  • Volunteer your business / team’s professional services or business skills as part of Mandela Day.

As a School

  • Organize a CIVVIES DAY  as part of Casual Day (3 September) and buy your stickers from Horizon House.
  • Challenge the other classes in the raising of funds, or collection of goods for Horizon House:
    – Books
    – Shoes (new or lightly used, especially adult sizes 8-11)
    – Decorations, Fairy and decorative lights, bunting as well as fancy-dress costumes
    – New pillows with pillow covers
  • Choir or band members or DJ’s, come and entertain our residents, they love music!
  • Get a group of classmates to come and help us in our gardens.
